before it was ever called "risk management".
That's why we call ourselves "troubleshooters".


We may be "old-school" but that doesn't mean that we're
old-fashioned in what we do or how we do it.
It does mean, however, that we are old-fashioned
in our values and standards.


We believe in treating every client as if they were our only client.

We also believe that any enterprise (public, commercial,
charitable, etc) should be led by its operations.
That is where either the money is made or,
for non-commercial entities, where the the service delivery is focused.

We have available a body of expertise that covers just about
every economic sector and industry.
And where we don't have it, then we get it in.


We are based in South Africa - well placed to cover
all of Africa and the rest of the world.

We pride ourselves on our professionalism, integrity,
independence and honesty. We speak plainly and directly.
We don't do jargon. We don't dress up our reporting.
We report on what we see and find without fear or favor.

If we can help you then we will.
If we can't then we'll tell you that, as well - and we'll even
try to help you find someone who can.


We are fanatical about our clients' confidentiality and reputations.
All our communications, documents and reports are encrypted
using our own unique encryption codes.
Security of information is taken very seriously.
Nothing is stored online.


We don't pad our expenses and we simply pass them on at cost.
We do not inflate our invoices by using US or European rates.
We charge South African rates on a cost-plus basis.


The business is privately owned with less than a handful of employees.
Yet we have a global reach simply because our expertise is contracted
in for each job from a small pool of known and trusted associates.
